Interview (Q & A Round):

Q. What motivated you to start blogging?

I can’t put my finger on a moment or cause that motivated me to write. I have been reading the classics since I was a kid and perhaps those writers gave me courage to express myself. My blog is more like an extension of me than an accessory.

Q. Tell us in detail about your blog, your idea and how it can benefit others?

Mine is a personal blog. It contains my poems, stories and the random thoughts that strike me. I am always excited to read others. Words and the thoughts behind them fascinate me like nothing else can.

I have never actually thought about the beneficial aspects of blogging. Still, I can surely introduce new bloggers to an amazing group of people who always support me.

Q. What area or topic you generally cover in your blog, any special reason behind it?

Human mind and soul are the two most frequently touched topic on my blog. As I said earlier, words and thoughts always fascinate me. I love to analyze actions and reactions. Nothing too philosophical, yet I want to make my readers think. About the small things in life that shape us.

Q. Which blogging platform you are using (wordpress, blogspot, bloggers etc), any reason about it?

I have been on other blogging platforms too but now I am settled on Blogspot.

Q. How frequent you update your blog? How many post your blog is carrying at present?

On an average, I have 3 updates on my blog every month. Right now I have 34-35 posts (I had taken a long break a few months back). Most of them are poems.

Q. What tools you use to increase your blog readership and bring people on your blog? Do you use social networking sites?

None.

I visit blogs that appeal to me, read them and then I leave a meaningful comment. It has worked for me like a charm. I am blessed with a small but healthy group of regular readers.

Q. Any specific tips you have for new bloggers who want to make it in the blogsphere?

Be honest. Be regular and give respect to your fellow bloggers. Don’t lose heart if you don’t get good traffic in the start.

Q. Do you earn revenue through your blog? If yes, then how a blogger should monetize his / her blog? If no, then any plans in future?

I would surely love to earn from my blog but I haven’t actually been successful with it.

Q. What are your other favorite blogs which you follow, can you list the top 5 such blogs?

My favorite blogs are blogrolled.

I have been a fan ever since she gave her site link during a conversation. Thinking it to be just another site i had thought of skipping it . Boy i am glad i took a peek and have been a follower ever since.

One of the best thing i like about is her poems .

Simple yet well written about events/everyday life/emotions etc etc which we don’t seem to think much about as they have become monotonous … she makes us pause and take a look at ourselves through our and her eyes.

I will forever be grateful and a fan for making life more colorful for me. :)
