Q. What motivated you to start blogging?
I love reading and always aspired to become a writer. I started blogging only to explore my writing side of myself. It was only after I started blogging did I realize, I still had to learn a lot. Well, you don’t learn how to write in one day. Rather you learn it every day.
Q. Tell us in detail about your blog? What area or topic you generally cover in your blog, any special reason behind it?
The name says it all. It deals with my thoughts. What I think, comes out in the form of words be it some funny experience of mine or my favorite music or some philosophical lecture. I love my past so much that I document it in my blog, bringing out the funny side of them and relishing the fond memories. Yes, I am a nostalgia freak.
Q. Why reader should come on your blog…What is the best part of your blog?
Well, guess the fact that my writing isn’t fake or exaggerated and it’s an honest attempt should attract my readers.
Q. Which blogging platform you are using (wordpress, blogspot, bloggers etc), any reason about it?
Blogspot, Because, I started with it and I stick with what I started till the end.
Q. How frequent you update your blog? How many post your blog is carrying at present?
Ah a difficult question. I used to update my blog every 3 days. Now a days because of hectic schedule, I am trying to update it every week or so. Right now, I have 18 posts.
Q. What tools you use to increase your blog readership and bring people on your blog? Do you use social networking sites?
Let’s just say, I am bad in networking. I can’t comment on other’s blogs just to make mine noticeable. I don’t believe in “I scratch your back, you also scratch mine”. If mine is good enough, I will have readers (someday).
Q. Any specific tips you have for new bloggers who want to make it in the blogsphere?
Never write what others want to read. Always write for yourself.
Q. What you like most about internet and why?
Internet gave me unique techniques to while away my free time (i.e. 24 hrs)
Q. What you hate most about internet and why?
It wastes all my time.
Q. Do you earn revenue through your blog? If yes then how a blogger should monetize his / her blog? If no, then any plans in future?
No, May be in future if this website decides to buy my blog (winks). Jokes apart, the idea of earning through my blog is interesting. So I might give it a shot sometime in future.
