Interview (Q&A Round):

Q. According to you what is a blog?

Well, a blog is a blog is a blog. Nothing else! However people tend to transform their BLOG in to every possible form and colour. Some get success and majority failed in doing so, and ultimately  end up with FAILBLOG in their hand.

Q. What motivated you to start blogging?

Since my childhood, I read a lot. I read any crap piece of paper that contain any kind of readable sentences. One fine day, while reading a crap piece of paper that contains equally crap thing, I realized that I too can write such craps. Later, I found that PCs are best friend of any given crap writer. Then, I started publishing my craps on Geocities (huh, the demon recently passed away – Bhagwan inki AATMAA ko shanti de..) and finally, swiftly turned to blogging.

Q. Tell us in detail about your blog? What area or topic you generally cover in your blog, any special reason behind it?

Initially, I started posting my own literary writings. But soon realized that janataa out there is in dire need of help as far as localize-computing is concerned. So I started posting articles regarding localize-computing, help tips and tricks. Basically, I am humourist, so I end up writing humour often.

Q. Why reader should come on your blog…What is the best part of your blog?

Once I was fiddling with my blog’s statistics and found that some people came to my blog accidently while searching for p**n, s*x and f**k words. And they were dissatisfied lot. But honestly, I think majority do come for REAL GYAN – computing tips & a dash of humour. Best part of my blog is my blog’s sidebar, where ADSENSE ads were displayed. Kindly have a look.

Q. Which blogging platform you are using (wordpress, blogspot, bloggers etc), any reason about it?

If you have your own domain and server, you cannot beat Wordpress. But, since I don’t have any, I am sticking to Blogspot where I can put all kinds of scripts for all kinds of things such as POP-UP ads…

Q. How frequent you update your blog? How many post your blog is carrying at present?

I eat blogging, drink blogging and sleep blogging, so most of the time I end up keeping them updating. I have many blogs. At present, the statistics are:

Chinte aur bauchaaren – 686

Rachanakar – 1780

Tech Trouble – 300

Hindi Varga Paheli - 68

Q. What tools you use to increase your blog readership and bring people on your blog? Do you use social networking sites?

Ah! God!! So, the tool really exists! It is not rumor. And, I was stupid enough thinking that good stuff only will increase my blog readership and bring people on to my blog automatically. Now, I had learned. I am running to mall right now to get such tools. Can some one point me for cheap bargain on e-bay?

Q. Any specific tips you have for new bloggers who want to make it in the blogsphere?

LAGE RAHO MUNNA BHAI. See, you can’t get results overnight in blogosphere. You need constant dedication, time, quality content, and, a bit of LUCK.

Q. What you like most about internet and why?

If your intention [of this question] is really pure, and you don’t really mean those silly answers Google trend reveals, then, honestly, Internet is giving you all kinds of knowledge anywhere, anytime. I like that most.

Q. What you hate most about internet and why?

Hummm… Hate most about Internet? Yes, I hate ISPs absurd rates, creepy download speed, any talk on ‘BAN on torrents & music streaming’ etc.

Q. Do you earn revenue through your blog? If yes then how a blogger should monetize his / her blog? If no, then any plans in future?

I am desperately trying to earn through my blogs as most blogger Jantaa out there do. Lottery kabhi to khulegi….

Q. What are your other favorite blogs which you follow, can you list the top 5 such blogs?

Other favorite blog? Are you kidding? I like most my own blog (as other bloggers like their own, and I am same breed…) 1-10 and hence no other blog come under top# 10 list. If you still insist, I like to read each and every post of –
