Blogging for me is a way to speak your heart out, make friends, raise some social issues and read what others have to say about it. Generally I write about my experiences in life and relate it with normal social issues. I write with an open mind with a touch of satire and sarcasm. My humor has been surprisingly accepted and I am yet to receive a threat from any harassed reader but I am waiting.” Says Abhinav Bhatt a.k.a. I’ve spent my career as a professor publishing, probably about 100 articles in print. The sort of thing I’m doing in my blog could, in theory, be gathered together in traditional book format. But I decided to try things a new way. I am not giving up on traditional print media. Books are not dead, nor will they be.”

I have a real special meme that draws a lot of people every Tuesday. It’s called RUBY TUESDAY and bloggers have to post something RED (using a photograph that they’ve taken themselves) and link back to my blog. I get about 100-120 people participating every week.” Says blogger Mary Tomaselli, an Adjunct professor by profession.

Mary started blogging with an intention to connect with people around the world and also wanted a platform where she can explore her photography skill …and born “Work of the Poet” in 2007, the blog is collection of photos, recreational memes and also sometimes she likes to write on political and cultural issue; as of now the blog holds around 1500 blog posts with 217 followers through Google connect.
